Mary Dell Bell, a beloved culinary artist and dedicated homemaker, peacefully departed this life on November 17, 2024, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 96. Born on March 6, 1928, in Jacksonville, Texas, Mary exemplified a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a deep affection for her family and friends.

A true testament to her character, Mary was known for her bubbly personality and infectious sense of humor that could light up a room. Her passion for gardening earned her the title of "green thumb," as she nurtured not only her plants but also the hearts of those around her. Her culinary skills brought family and friends together, where she often shared her cherished recipes and created lasting memories over hearty meals.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Anita Bell, and her son, Ricky Bell. They, along with countless others who had the pleasure of knowing her, will carry her spirit in their hearts.

For those wishing to pay their respects, a Prayer Service will be held on November 21, 2024, at 7:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A viewing will take place on November 22, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM at the same location. Mary’s journey will conclude with a burial service on November 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery, Co Road, Jacksonville, TX 75766.
