Melba Shaw Marshall, a cherished matarch and beloved member of her community, was on May 12, 1926, inboro, Texas. She passed away peacefully on November 25,2024, in Dallas, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience that will be remembered by all who knew her.

A prayer service to honor Melba's memory will be held on December 9, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. The following day, on December 10, family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM.
