Psalm 18:1-2 “I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” Millie De Los Santos was born on the original D– Day, November 11, 1944 in San Antonio, TX. Millie Lived in San Antonio all her life up until 2013, when she moved to Dallas primarily to be near her family. All her life before entering a nursing home, she loved dogs and had about a half dozen! Millie was quite active in her community and served as President of The Westlawn Neighborhood Association. She rallied with the nieghbors to appeal to the City for a Neighborhood Watch, and, to have the streets and sidewalks repaired. She took great joy in that everything the nieghborhood needed and asked for, was granted by the City. Millie loved the Lord Jesus above all else and enjoyed being in Sunday services at Dallas First Church. While she was still able to move about in a wheelchair, she would venture out of her room to meet the other residents in the nursing home praying for, and, cheering up those who were lonely and had no family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. For the last two years she was bedridden and no longer able to go anywhere. We honor her foo never, ever having complained of her circumstances in life. Her treasure was her bible. She also loved so very much being able to visit with hr great nieces and nephews; they brought her great joy. She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Virginia Caudillo, and brothers, Jesse De La Vega, Eddie (Consuelo), Frank (Carol) Richard (Rebecca) Prieto and a host of nieces and nephews.
