Michael “Mike” Green was a caring and compassionate man. He never met a stranger and enjoyed debating at length about all things. He was an avid student of life, and wanted nothing more than to explore what our world and all others in the galaxy had to offer.
Mike loved video games, movies, fishing, and music. In his early adult life, he was a celebrated trumpet player, and toured briefly with Al “TNT” Braggs before beginning a family. Once his two children were born, he spent the remainder of his days providing for them and being a devoted father.
Mike retired after 25 years from Fannie Mae, and resumed all of his favorite pastimes until the day he passed away. He enriched the world with his wit and knowledge, and a spirit as kind as his will be greatly missed.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Jean Mayshaw, father, Clarence Green, Sr., and sister, Rosa Lee Johnson.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Aundrea Elyse Green; son, Morgan Lynn Green; three sisters, Deborah Lynn Greene, Francine Denise Phinisee (John), and Charlotte Marie Hadnot (Edward); two brothers, Clarence Green, Jr., and Darrell Keith Green (Denise); and a host of other relatives and friends
