On August 28, 1961, God allowed a special child to enter the world. Myron Tyrone Wilson was born to the union of Louis C. “Sonny” Wilson and Johnnie Mae Smith in Dallas, TX.
Myron was taught Christian values and confessed to Christ at an early age. His adult spiritual and faithful fellowship began at Saint Luke Community United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Eventually, he attended other churches including Friendship-West Baptist Church (Dallas), under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III, where he served in ministry. He recently attended Concord Church (Dallas). He received his formative education in Dallas, Texas from St. Peters Catholic School and David W. Carter High School where he graduated in 1979. He attended college in Kansas for a short time but later returned to Dallas.
Myron enjoyed a lengthy career with United Parcel Service (UPS). He also worked for the United States Postal Service. Later after an on-the-job injury, Myron became an entrepreneur where he was the owner of D&Ds (Daddy & Daughters) Grill in Dallas, TX.
He was married to Yolanda Johnson on August 17, 1998. To this union, one child was born.
Myron was outgoing and super-friendly; he never met a stranger. He was a great supporter of his family and friends, and he enjoyed life to its fullest. He was very proud of his daughters and loved his grandchildren very much. His hobbies were TALKING LOUD, transporting his family and friends around when they needed him, and sending spiritual words of encouragement. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his favorite teams: the Houston Astros, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Myron was called to eternal rest on Friday, February 18, 2022, in Dallas, TX. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
