Norman Ray Rowlett, a cherished and beloved member of his community, passed away on August 29, 2024 in Seagoville, Texas, at the age of 63. Born on June 3, 1961, in Grand Prairie, Texas, Norman's journey was marked by his passion for culinary arts and his dedication to his family.
As a Dallas ISD high school graduate, Norman instilled the values of hard work and perseverance in aspects of his life. His career as a Chef allowed him to express his creativity and skill in the kitchen, building a reputation for his exceptional dishes and warm hospitality. Norman’s culinary talents were matched only by his kindness and generosity towards others, making him a beloved figure among family and friends.
He leaves behind a family who adored him, including his spouse, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Norman was also a loving son, brother, and uncle, surrounded by a close-knit family that included his mother and siblings. His relatives and friends will deeply miss the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives.
The memory of Norman Ray Rowlett will be honored with a Prayer Service held on September 6, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on September 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Both services will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.
Norman's passion and love for life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He leaves a lasting legacy through his family and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey.
