OBIE COLLINS

Obie Conyer Collins was born on June 19, 1948 to the late Willie and Lillie Bell Conyer in Fresno, AR. She departed this life on June 25, 2018. She confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and united with Prince of Peace Baptist Church. She received her education from Lincoln High School in Star City, AR and later moved to Dallas, TX.She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Tammy Buchanan (John); five sons, Lavon Conyer,  Aundra Conyer, Leon Collins, Wil Patrick Ford and Shamone Ford; thirteen grandchildren; seven sisters, Linda Lambert of Gould, Mary Lee Walker of Michigan City, IN, Lavornia Price (Joe) of Dallas, TX, Kathy Conyer Livington (Lonzo) of Gould, AR; four brothers, Alfred Eackles and Sylvester Conyer, Lawrence Conyer (Edna) of Pine Bluff, AR and Willie Conyer (Bettye) of Prosper, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
