Odessa Lois Marshall was born on July 2, 1934 to William and Luease Taylor Dimes in Washington, TX
She graduated from Mount Fall High School in Washington, TX.
She meet and married Milton Elbert Marshall on March 16, 1953 in Washington, TX,
Soon after they moved to Corpus Christi, TX and then Houston, TX for many years.
In later years she moved to Fort Worth, TX and became a faithful member of Grace Temple Seventh Day - Adventist Church on September 7, 1963 and was baptized by the Senior Pastor L.G. Newton. As a faithful member she served on the Usher Board for many years.
Lois loved reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and baking. Some of her favorite foods were cabbage, beans, potato salad and chicken. Lois was very quiet, but she loved her family and she loved people.
She is preceded in Death by both parents, William and Luease Taylor Dimes, sister Lena Mae Washington and Burnettie Crooks, and daughter Velvet Lois Marshall.
Those left to cherish her memories one sister Wilma Jean Willrich and one brother Willie Edward Dimes;
Four daughters; Brenda Marshall (James), Gloria Jean Marshall, Thelma Releford (Vincent), Patricia Watson (David), Three sons; Milton Earl Marshall, (Kathleen), Gary Marshall, Gregory Marshall (Megan); twenty seven grandchildren, forty four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
