OLLIE BRIGGS

Ollie Mae Briggs transitioned on July 8, 2022 in Dallas, TX at the age of 65. She was born on July 16, 1956 in Lewisville, AR. She attended high school in Vernon, TX and relocated to Dallas, TX in 1974, where she raised her three children. She was a hard worker and was employed at Embassy Suites, Schepps Dairy and Honey Baked Hams during her lifetime. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, her favorite pastime was reading books and she liked a good bingo game. She was a person who never met a stranger and would tell it like it was, but give you her last in the same breath if she knew that you were in need. Her Saturday mornings were filled with Al Green, pine-sol and soul food.

She is survived by her sisters Diana Ray and Alice Hall. Her brothers Perry Briggs, LJ Briggs, Tom Briggs, and Wayne Briggs, daughter Deidra (Johnny) Reece and her sons CJ Carter and Alvin Briggs, as well as 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
