When you stop to think of me come sit and find comfort beneath my life’s tree. My roots run deep, my branches wide; each bearing leaves of love and countless memories. Your hearts may be heavy and tears may fall on your face like rain but let the sunshine of my leaves of love dry your eyes and ease your pain. Don’t concentrate on how I left here, or even the struggles we endured in between, for I lived a full and blessed life having loved all of you the same. Through the veil of twilight the lord gave me final clarity and allowed me one more time to tell you thank you for the love, laughter, and friendship.
With a personality that would leave you laughing until your sides hurt, he was a man who loved to dress from his head to his toes...and the shoes...when he stepped in the room he turned heads. Born October 27, 1965, to Ivory Montgomery and Howard Harris, both preceding him in death, he was a graduate of the Class of 1984 at The “Great” James Madison High School.
Early in his adult life he served others as a professional barber, and later he became an auto sales consultant. He had a passion for golfing, swinging out, good cigars, and the San Francisco 49ers.
He leaves to rejoice in his home going: his children, Ashley, LaShara, Gabrielle, Shelby, Jamiyah, Tylan, and Skyler; his grandchildren, Cameron and Jai’elle; his sisters, Cemone, LaChon, LaShonjia, and Kim (LaKeithia preceded him in death); his brothers, Mike and Jarrod; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
