Obituary
Our dear loved one, Patricia Ann Mack, 62 of Hurst, Texas passed away on Sunday April 25, 2021. She was born on May 12, 1958 in Waco, Texas to the late Andrew Mack and LaVonne Keeling Mack.
She received her education at different schools around the United States and abroad due to her parents' military careers. Patricia graduated from Fort. Knox High School in 1976 and she attended Vogue Beauty College in Fort Worth. For a time she was a hairstylist, but she soon switched careers and dedicated the rest of her working years to loving on Children. She worked for Fort Worth Independent School District as a Special Education bus monitor and in special education classrooms. She retired in 2008 from Jefferson County Independent School District Hite Elementary, as a Preschool Teacher and bus monitor. Not only did she love countless school children over the years, but no matter where we lived she was known as Mama Pat. Everyone knew if they needed food to eat or a place to sleep Mom would always make sure they were okay.
In 1977, she met and married Maurice Smith, to this union four children were born. While their marriage dissolved they remained friends. She later met and married the late Rodney D. Blumenberg, who is also deeply loved and greatly missed. While their marriage lasted for nearly 20 years, they divorced as well. She did not remarry but she continued to touch the life of all she met and was loved by all who knew her. Not only did she never meet a stranger, she was the best Mom her children could ask for, a wonderful Grandma and Great Grandma. We could not ask for a sweeter, more loving woman than Mama, "Patty Mack!"
Those left to cherish her precious memories: step-mother, Mira Mack; her twin sons, Robert and Ronald Smith; daughters, Tandinika (son-in-law Fred) Dawson and Zenobia (son-in-law Clayton) Womack; grandchildren, Ja-Marcus Smith, Jasmine Smith, Robert Smith Jr, Serenity Rose Dawson, Zaniyah Womack, Robyn Smith, and Cashis Womack; bonus grandbabies, Taricka, Nikki, and Tiffany Franklin.
