Phillip W. Henderson of Fort Worth, was born to the parents of Mother Mattie P. Bond (Warren) and Elake Benson. He was raised in Fort Worth.
Phillips attended Fort Worth Public Schools. He attended Versie L. Williams Elementary, graduated from Amon Carter High School on June 6, 1987.
Phillip was a member of the Clark Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ under the late Bishop C. D. Clark where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Phillip attended Lincoln Tech. He worked for Ben E. Keith Packing Co. Phillip owned his own business, Henderson Lawn and Cleaning Service. He worked for Bowman Family for 16 years, they were his first customer for him starting his business.
Phillip played football, ran track, boys scout camp, He loved helping people in need. He had a good heart for caring for anybody especially older people.
Phillip was very well respected, very active and a good person, had a sweet personality and very strong faith in the Lord.
Phillip W. Henderson answered the call of his master on May 7, 2018 and will be greatly missed.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Elake Benson, grandparents, Jesse Warren, Zette Warren; uncles, Ray & Bennie Warren; aunt, Betty Ephraim; and a great nephew, Rodney W. Henderson Jr.
Phillip leaves behind to cherish his memories: daughter, Phillicia Henderson; mother, Mattie Bond (David); Anthony Henderson (Christy), Sandra Holbert (Tarus), Shunda Burks (Derrick); stepbrothers and sisters, Arthur Yarbrough, Austin Yarbrough (Lisa), Charlotte Yarbrough (Lester), Cheryl Cooper; special friend, Shanakka Floumoy; and a host of family and friends.
