Ray Earl Scott

Ray Earl Scott passed away on July 10, 2024, taking with him a smile that could brighten any room, and leaving behind a legacy defined by love and kindness. Born on December 18, 1940, Ray lived a life that deeply touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Ray's warm and genuine personality endeared him to many throughout his years. His presence was a source of comfort to his family and friends, and he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued, leaving an everlasting mark on those around him.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife, Francis; his cherished children, Demetra, Ray, and Traci; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. His memory will also be treasured by his surviving friends, who were privileged to know such an extraordinary soul.

Wake services honoring Ray will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on Friday, July 19, 2024, with a Prayer Service starting at 6:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place at Freedom Point Community Church in Duncanville on July 20, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for all who loved and knew Ray to come together, celebrate his life, and find solace in each other's company.
