RAYMOND JOHNSON

May 5, 1959 — August 2, 2018

Raymond Charles Johnson was born May 5, 1959, in Beaumont, Texas, to mother, Willie B. Lovett, and father, Clifton Hendrix.

Growing up, he enjoyed collecting comic books, art and singing. Raymond was the oldest brother to sisters, Dorray Hatten, Mary Scott, and Patricia Lovett, and brother, Willie Lovett.
Raymond moved to the southside of Fort Worth, Texas, as a teen, where he lived with his uncle’s family. A slender, tall, brown-skinned, curly haired young man, Raymond discovered his talent for working on cars, window tinting and replacing glass. He was creative by nature with a charismatic personality.

Raymond was a loving father to Aaron Thomas, Anthony Johnson (mother, Juliah Thomas), Kassandra McClaim, Kandra Davis, Bobbiette McClaim, Rayshawn Johnson, Raymond Johnson, and Dayshawn Johnson (mother, Efrazier D. McClaim). He was a grandfather to 18 grandchildren, and uncle to a host of nephews and nieces. Over the years, Raymond, known for his good heart and kind spirit, was often called RJ or Mr. Raymond by many in the business or community. Raymond Charles Johnson will always live within our heart and will never be forgotten. Rest in Heaven, Dad. We love you.
