RICKEY SHIVERS

On August 15th 2021, Rickey Shivers Sr. was escorted through the gates of eternity to lay in the corridors of Eternal rest. He was preceded on death by his mother Odie Bell Nelson, father Eldridge Shivers, brother Herbert Battery Jr. and sister Debra Shivers.

Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Tx, Rickey Sr. graduated from Polytech High School and was inspired to do great things with his life. In 1991, he married and begin to build his family. He traveled all over the country and enjoyed music, movies and spending time with family & friends. Mr. Shivers established his own detail & janitorial services which he held until his health began to fail him.

Those left to cherish his loving memory are: his beautiful wife, Brenda Shivers;  his sister,  Paula Shrivers; his brother,  Byron Armstrong; children, Corey Martin, Brenika Thompson, Rickey Thompson, Riquitia "Kiki" Shivers Lockett (Loomus),  Odie Shivers, Rickey Shivers Jr. (LaKeish), Tamesha Jones; beautiful grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends.
