Roderick Rondell McCloud "E.L. Fudge"
Roderick McCloud, affectionately known as "E.L. Fudge," was born on June 29, 1974, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Navy veteran Jerry McCloud and Loretta McCloud. In 1989, Roderick relocated to Texas from Oklahoma City and graduated from Arlington High School in 1993. He went on to live a full, adventurous life defined by laughter, love, and unforgettable flavor—both in personality and in the kitchen.
A true culinary enthusiast, Roderick found joy in cooking and worked as a chef at various restaurants in Arlington, Texas. His last place of employment was Doskocil Manufacturing. Whether he was beatboxing while rapping his own original rhymes or firing up the grill as a self-proclaimed BBQ master, Roderick’s talents were as abundant as his charm.
A diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners, Roderick brought that same team spirit into every room he entered. He loved making people laugh, and cherished time spent with the love of his life, his wife Keisha McCloud. His contagious laugh and magnetic presence made every gathering better—he truly was the life of the party.
Roderick is survived by his loving wife Keisha; his five children: Jerry, Jesse, Roderick, Anthony, and Brittney; his mother Loretta; sister April; Father and Mother in love Wendell and Patricia Moore, sisters and brother in love Barbie Necie and colton; and a host of in-laws, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever remember his joyful spirit and generous heart.
You will be deeply missed, Roderick—your light, your laughter, your love
