Rogers Ann Crear was born on October 1, 1950, in Shreveport, LA, to her loving mother Mattie Ford. She grew up to be a remarkable woman known for her down-to-earth nature, honesty, strong opinions, and a great sense of humor. From a young age, Rogers had a passion for helping others which led her to pursue a career at LSU Hospital as a Health Care Aide after graduating from high school.
Throughout her life, Rogers touched the hearts of many with her comforting presence and encouraging words. She had an eye for good movies and loved spending time watching them with her loved ones. Her movie nights were always a hit as she had a knack for picking out the best films. Apart from her love for movies, Rogers enjoyed engaging in long conversations over the phone with friends and family.
In her free time, Rogers indulged in watching soap operas and ordering jewelry online - hobbies that brought her joy and relaxation. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a homeowner, showcasing her independence and hard work.
On July 8, 2024, Rogers Ann Crear passed away in Dallas, TX, leaving behind a legendarily surviving family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Crear Sr. She is Survived by her devoted children, Tannis Ford and David Crear II, cherished grandchildren Lapacquin Ford and Lemonia Ashton, supportive sister Emma Lawson, and caring nephew Mandarrian Ford.
Rogers will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love. May she rest in peace knowing she made a significant impact on everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
