**Obituary**

On the 2nd of July, 2024, the world lost a shining light as Romika Deshun Jackson, fondly known as "Mika", passed away in Fort Worth, TX. She was born on the 1st March, 1989, in her beloved hometown of Dallas, TX.

Mika's journey through life was marked by her vibrant and outgoing personality. As a bartender, she poured not just drinks, also joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. Her friends know her as a fun-loving soul who had a magnetic charm that endeared her to everyone she met. Mika embodied resilience and strength, earning her the title of a true "Boss Chick".

She leaves behind a legacy of love and courage, survived by her five children who meant the world to her. In addition to her children, Mika is mourned by a host of family members, friends, and acquaintances whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.

To honor and celebrate the life of Romika Deshun Jackson, a series of services will be held. The visitation will take place on the 12th of July, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. Following this, an event will be held from 6:00 PM onwards at the same location. The Celebration of Life service will be held on the 13th of July, 2024, at 3:00 PM.

As we bid farewell to Mika in body but not in spirit, let us carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and joy.
