Romnika Morgan

Ronmika Simpson-Morgan, aka Mika, was born September 24, 1984, to Sharla K. Brown-Henry and Ronald Simpson in Los Angeles, California. Mika was a beautiful child with striking eyes and an infectious giggle. Always pleasant, cheerful and a blessing to anyone she crossed paths with.

Mika attended Chatsworth High School in Los Angeles Independent School District. A well-known jack of all trades as well as an exceptional Medication Aide at Juliette Fowler Communities in Dallas Texas for 10 years. She was also a world class stylist & serial-entrepreneur.

Mika was previously married to her husband of over 20 years by Pastor Hall at Abyssinia Baptist church before becoming a member of Friendship-West Baptist Church where she served as a member under Pastor Frederick D. Haynes III. She was a dedicated follower of Christ and believed in helping others.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Brenda Simpson; grandfather, Ruddie Bruner; uncle Reginald Simpson; cousins Charles Anthony Johnson Jr. and Ronnie Simpson.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are: husband Monta Morgan; son Monta Morgan III; daughters Shar’mia Earl and Montasia Morgan; granddaughter Mykell Smith; mother Sharla Brown-Henry; father Ronald Simpson; stepfather Dion Henry Sr.; stepmother Elise Simpson; stepson Monta Jr.; brothers Alberto Payne,  Dionyuta Henry, Dion Henry Jr, Ronald Jr. (Paco); sisters Porsha, Brittany, Breyona, Shatera, ShyRon; honorable mention to Shanterica Hood and Chrisaveon Whitted; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and associates.
