Ronnie Michael Carter Freeman, a beloved entrepreneur, surgical technology specialist, and who proudly served in the Navy, where he was honorably discharged, was born on November 25, 1954, in Tyler, Texas. He departed this life on November 1, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and a passion for uplifting those around him.
Renowned for his outgoing and direct personality, Ronnie possessed an intuitive understanding of life and people that drew many to him. His high intelligence was evident not just in his career but also in the relationships he nurtured throughout his life. Ronnie was a guiding light, offering wisdom and support, always eager to uplift and inspire others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany D. Wesley-Freeman, and a cherished family, including his children: LaRonnica L. Carter DeBouse-Young, Robert Michael Freeman, Cierra Lesha' F. Anderson, Ronnie Michael Carter Freeman II, Dacorian Rapheal Carter Freeman, Nevaeh Sade' F. Wesley, and La'Niyah Monae' Carter Freeman.
Ronnie's family was anchored by the unwavering support of his father, Rev. Dr. Lymell Carter. He also leaves behind his siblings: Carlos Freeman, Gary Garrett, Valencia Garrett Barrett, & Michael Garrett, paternal siblings, 5 amazing grand children, a wonderful large host of beloved family members, & dear friends.
In the hearts of those who knew him, the memory of Ronnie will forever be cherished.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jettie D. Garrett, sister Jacqueline Garrett whose memory will remain an integral part of the family tapestry.
Celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held with an intimate come & go viewing on November 15, 2024, starting 2-7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.
Following this, Friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of a man who touched their lives deeply. His Home-going Service will take place on November 16, 2024, at the Golden Gate Funeral Home Chapel, commencing at 1:00 PM, where all are welcome to honor his life and legacy. The family will have a private military service to send him off with military honors.
As his spirit ascends to the heavens, it leaves behind an indelible mark on the lives he touched, a testament to a life well-lived in love, service, and devotion to family and friends. Ronnie Michael Carter Freeman’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
