Rosella Washington Parks was born on October 14, 1954 to the proud parent of Bessie Mae Washington of Texarkana, AR. Rosella married Eddie Mack Parks on August 4, 1987, to whom she remained united in holy wedlock until the Lord called him home from Earth to his heavenly reward. To this union, two children were born.
She accepted Christ at an early age and united as a member with the St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Rosella had a beautiful personality and a caring and warm heart. She charmed so many with her beautiful smile.
Rosella was devoted and dedicated to her family. She was a nurturing mother to her children, grandmother to her grandchildren, and many others she cared for. She touched the lives of so many by sharing her gift of home cooked meals; especially her great-grandmother’s recipe for awesome teacakes and peanut butter cookies.
Rosella departed this life and took refuge with her heavenly Father on August 29, 2016.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Bessie Mae Washington Chiles, her husband, Eddie Mack Parks, and one son, Rodney Washington Sr.
Her memories will always be cherished in the hearts of:
