Rosemary Carter-Harris was born in Monroe Louisiana to the late Albirta McDaniel Carter and Fred Carter Sr. Rosemary graduated from Little Flower Academy School in Monroe Louisiana.
Rosemary worked in the Medical Industry for several years, she also worked in the Hospitality industry. Rosemary lived in Monroe most of her life but moved to Dallas Texas in 2003 where she retired.
Rosemary received Christ at an early age and was christened at the Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Mother-in-law, Aunt and a Friend to everyone.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Edward Harris, her children; Shirley Turner (Monroe Louisiana) , Louis Smith,(Dallas TX) Patricia Varner, (Anna, Tx), Cynthia Smith,(Garland TX), Reginald Smith {Jammy}-(Monroe Louisiana), Elliott Smith {Angela} -(Forney TX), Tangy Parson (McKinney TX), and Derrick Turner (Garland TX), Two step-children Linda Bursey (Monroe Louisiana), Micheal Bursey (Monroe Louisiana). A Bonus Daughter Debra Beard and a Bonus Son Rickey Henderson, sister Flora Ford {Frank} of Warner Robins GA and Her brother Fred Carter Jr. of Monroe Louisiana. A host of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews,
She was preceded in death by her Mother Albirta Carter and Father Fred Carter, Two brothers James Carter (Felma) and Samuel Carter, Three sisters Bennie Smith, Louise Jones and Marie Hall, One grandson Orieanthiaine Bradley.
