Roshonda Dennetta Shorter, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on January 29, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 18, 1973, in Bryan, Texas, and lived a life dedicated to her family and career.

Roshonda was respected in her profession as a manager, but her roles as a mother and grandmother were where her heart truly lay. She cherished her children and grandchildren, who will carry forward her love and values. A viewing to honor Roshonda’s life will take place on February 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, her funeral service will be held on February 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location.
