ROY SMITH

Roy Smith, a beloved figure in the lives of many, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on January 18, 1952, Roy was known for his loving nature and his unwavering commitment to his family.

As a great father and a loving husband, Roy dedicated much of his life to nurturing and supporting his loved ones. His warmth and compassion made him a pillar in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Roy's legacy is one of kindness, strength, and deep familial bonds that will be cherished by all who survive him.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation scheduled for January 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held on January 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, concluding at 2:00 PM.

Roy Smith will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched with his love and generosity.
