Ruby Jeanette Chaucer daughter of Ruby Lee Warren-Campbell and the late Ernie D. Campbell, was born on January 23, 1951 in Tyler Texas. She attended the public school system of DISD, and graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt H.S. class of 1969. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and join Full Gospel Holy Temple where she was a dedicated member under the patronage of the late Bishop Lobias Murray. She later became a member of New El Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Timothy Brown. As a result of her generous spirit, pleasant personality she was love by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers and nick knacks that she loved so well, and her compassionate spirit will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Ruby furthered her education and obtained her Associates Degree in 2015 from Tarrant County College and continued on to the University of Texas at Arlington to pursue her Bachelorâs Degree.
Ruby married the late Andrew Brown Sr in 1968 and to this union God blessed them with six sons. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Michael Brown, Andrew Brown Jr., Curtis (Kimeeka) Brown, Jeffery Brown, and Keith Brown; Sisters Rosie Bowens, Mary(Jerald) Sasser, Gladys Henderson; Brother Robert (Kathy) Campbell, Nine Grand Children, Two Great Grand Children and a host of Nieces and Nephews
Ruby quietly departed this life on Tuesday September 27, 2016. Ruby was proceeded in death by her husband Andrew, her Father Ernie, her son Brian Elliott, and her Brother Craig Campbell.
