Ruby Stein Luevano was born January 14, 1937, in Tyler, Texas.
Ruby was preceded in her homegoing by one son Michael Norman, and both parents Cornelius Price and Eddie Lee Warren.
Siblings - Melvin Price, Galveston, Texas, Andrew Price, Big Spring, Texas, Elmira Bowie, Oakland, California, and Cleo Warren, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Most of Ruby’s early childhood and adult life was spent in Big Spring, Texas. She attended Lakeview High School and was active in sports. Upon graduation, her academic accomplishments earned her recognition as Valedictorian of her graduating class. Once again, in her pursuit for a higher education, Ruby accomplished another goal in life by attending Howard County Jr. College Nursing Program. The achievement of her nursing diploma was the introduction to her nursing career. She worked for Malone and Hogan Hospital in Big Spring, Texas and furthered her education to become a Registered Nurse, and worked for the Veterans Hospital in Los Angeles, California until her retirement.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters; Audrey McKinney, Dallas, Texas, and Cynthia Norman, Lawton, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Siblings to treasure her memory are Cornelius Price Jr., Brentwood, California, Fay Ree Edwards, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Shirley Pollard, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Barbara Bryant Lee, Denver, Colorado, Roy Warren, Tucson, Arizona, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
