Samatha Annette Nash was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 17, 1967, to Jerry Nash and Annie Nash.
As a young girl, she moved to Dallas, TX, where she attended Health Professions Magnet. In June of 1992, she gave birth to her only son, Le’Bryan Nash, who was her heart and soul.
She accepted Christ at an early age, and as she matured, her thirst for knowledge of the Lord increased. Samatha was an active member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
In January of 2018, she completed an 11-year career with Zales Corporation. Her life’s dream was encouraging her son to fulfill his goals. She enjoyed reading, especially tales of the Big Bad Wolf with her granddaughter. Her charismatic personality and thrill for life left a lasting impression with family, friends, co-workers and strangers.
It was Sunday, May 13, 2018, that Samatha Nash answered the Master’s call and transitioned from her earthly home to her home in Glory.
She leaves to cherish her legacy: her parents, Rev. Milton Cobb and Annie Bell Cobb; son, Le’Bryan Nash; brothers, Jerry Nash, Jacob Nash, Douglas Nash, Jacque Nash and Milton Cobb III; sisters, Michelle (Lenny) Nash, Frances Nash, Terlisa (Lisa) Cobb and Joslyn Nash-Hill; grandchild, Le’Kenleigh Nash; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Her family has comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
