Saroun Chem, also lovingly known as Yey Moup, has left behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. Her journey on this earthly realm began on May 10th, 1957, and after a life filled with joy, wisdom, and colorful experiences, she peacefully departed on April 1st, 2024.

Among the many facets of Saroun's vibrant personality were her roles as a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and mentor to her love ones. The memories she created while imparting knowledge and guidance will continue to inspire and shape the future generations of her family.

Saroun's persona can be best described as a delightful blend of humor, divinity, sassiness, and an undeniable spirit of perseverance. Her knack for bringing smiles to the faces of those around her and her unwavering determination in all endeavors have left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In her leisure moments, Saroun found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Cooking brought her closer to her loved ones through shared meals, while card playing added a touch of excitement and camaraderie to her days.
