Shai'ryun De’kelvyn Worthy Walker

Shai'ryun De’kelvyn Worthy Walker, affectionately known as  Shai Shai, or Shai Bandz, passed away on November 16, 2024, in his beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on May 3, 2003, Shai was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

An alumnus of South Oakcliff High School, Shai was known for his loving personality, adventurous nature, and passion for sports and gaming. His zest for life was evident in every endeavor he pursued, making him a cherished friend and an irreplaceable presence in the lives of those around him. He was often referred to as his mother’s giant bodyguard, indicative of his protective nature and deep affection for his family.

Shai leaves behind his loving parents, Belinda Shantae' Walker and Demelvin Hicks, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His memory will live on through the countless lives he has touched with his warmth, humor, and undeniable spirit.

Shai's light will continue to shine in the memories of his family and friends, who are left with the enduring lessons of love and loyalty he instilled in them. His passing leaves a profound void in their lives, but his legacy will forever remain a source of inspiration and comfort.
