SHENIQUA JERE DAVIS

Sheniqua Jere Davis, a heartfelt soul born on September 20, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, departed from this world on March 11, 2025. She graced her family and friends with a warmth that made every moment spent with her feel special. A beloved IT Customer Service Representative, Sheniqua was known for her bubbly personality and kindness that radiated through every interaction. Her smile had the power to uplift spirits, and her down-to-earth nature endeared her to everyone she met.

As a proud graduate of David W. Carter High School, she carried the spirit of the Cowboys with her throughout her life. Sheniqua’s love for people was evident in the moments she cherished, especially those spent styling hair. With a flair for creativity, she frequently turned to social media platforms, particularly Pinterest, to stay in tune with the latest trends and styles, mastering the art of hair design with impressive skill.

Above all else, Sheniqua’s proudest accomplishments were her children, Shane Nelson and Skylar Nelson. They brought immense joy to her life, and she nurtured them with unwavering love and support. Her siblings, Latonya Greer and Kelvin Davis, along with her cherished niece and nephews, Brandon Jordan, Kelvin Davis (KJ), and Breyonna Davis, will hold her memory close to their hearts as they navigate life without her presence.

Sheniqua was preceded in death by her father, Louis Davis, and her mother, Jimmie Pea Davis, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

Sheniqua's legacy of kindness, creativity, and love will forever remain with all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to honor her life at a Viewing on March 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Both services will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224.

Though she may have left this earth, Sheniqua Jere Davis will live on in the hearts of many, her spirit shining brightly through cherished memories and love shared.
