Shirley Ann Cline, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, left this world on March 23, 2025, in Waxahachie, Texas, at the age of 68. Born on January 4, 1957, in Strong, Arkansas, her journey through life was marked by a warmth and kindness that enveloped all who had the privilege to know her.
Shirley had a laughter that echoed like a sweet melody in the hearts of those around her, always leaving a tender mark on their spirits. To those who loved her, she was affectionately known as “Sugar,” a reflection of her sweet nature that endeared her to friends and family alike. No one could utter a bad word about her; she was synonymous with love, caring, and a selfless spirit. Her tremendous heart was always thinking of others, and her home was a sanctuary where laughter mingled with the delightful aromas of her cooking, especially her scrumptious sweets.
Those who spent time with Shirley understood that one needed only to reach into her purse to discover a veritable treasure trove, reflecting her knack for thoughtful preparedness and the joy she found in sharing. She was indeed a mobile "Walmart," equipped with everything one could possibly need, forever ready to extend a helping hand or a comforting embrace.
Shirley’s talents extended beyond her delicious creations; she found joy in shopping and even texting, keeping in touch with her loved ones in her own special way. Her pride was profoundly rooted in both her faith and family, and it was with great joy that she celebrated the blessings bestowed upon her: getting to know the Lord and cherishing her great-granddaughter, McKynzee.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Natasha Kirven (James), her son, Timon Cline, Jr., and her bonus daughter, Veronica Cline. The joy of her life was found in her children, three adoring grandchildren, Shateryia Madison (James), Amarriya, and Ja'Mya, and great granddaughter, McKynzee whose lives she touched deeply. In addition, the love of sisters Faye and Deborah, and brother Robert, Jr., provided her with a cherished bond that enriched her journey through life.
Her legacy of sweetness, generosity, and unyielding love will continue to resonate among all who knew her. Memorial services will be held to celebrate her remarkable life, where friends and family can gather in remembrance. A viewing will take place on March 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Following this, a funeral service will be conducted on March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at God’s Final Warning Ministries in Lancaster, TX.
As we bid farewell to Shirley Ann Cline, may we carry forward the light she radiated, continuing to share love and kindness in her memory. She will remain forever in our hearts, guiding us with the gentle touch of her spirit.
