SONJA JEFFERSON

Sonja LaShaun Jefferson-Cook was born on March 17, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the
parentage of Donald Ray and Jewel Brisby.

Sonja attended Fort Worth Public School and later graduated from the School of Cosmetology, where she obtained her license and became a professional hairstylist. Sonja united in marriage to Sean Cook, and they resided in Fort Worth, Texas.

On Monday, May 7, 2018, Sonja Jefferson-Cook surrendered to the call of her Master. God took her because he loved and cherished her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Brisby, and both grandmothers, Bessie Mae Mitchell and Priscilla Barton.

Those left to cherish her precious memories are: parents, Jewel and Larry Jackson; children, Asia Hall, Timothy Hall and Dalon Hill; granddaughter, A’mircle Hall; sister, Shomekia Brisby; brother, Marcus and Laronda Brisby; and a host of other family and friends.
