Susan D. Claybon, lovingly known as Aunt Sue, passed away on November 10, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on May 15, 1964, in Palestine, Texas, she was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Susan's professional journey was marked by her dedication to the communities she served. She worked in the school district transportation and food service sectors where her warmth and approachability made a lasting impact on students and colleagues alike. In addition to her work in public service, she was a proud business owner of Sweets by Sue C, where her passion for baking delighted the taste buds of many.

A graduate of Palestine High School, Susan furthered her education in business management at American Intercontinental University. Her commitment to learning and growth was evident in all aspects of her life. Susan embodied a spirit that was both spiritual and bubbly, radiating love wherever she went. As a devoted Woman of God, she brought joy and inspiration to her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Susan found great happiness in baking, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and share her love with others. Her culinary creations were not just recipes; they were manifestations of her nurturing spirit and an invitation to celebrate life's special moments.
