TAMMY LATRICE JORDAN

Tammy Latrice Jordan, a beloved figure in her Dallas community and a nurturing spirit, departed this world on March 15, 2025. Born on September 27, 1974, she graced the earth with her vibrant presence for fifty years, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Tammy's heart was rooted deeply in family, embracing her role as a loving mother to her three daughters: Jalessa, Janequa, and Jatavia. Each moment spent together was a celebration, marked by laughter and the warmth of familial bonds. Her soul sparkled as brightly as her smile when surrounded by her grandchildren, Tyrianna, Tamia, Za'Niyah, Zayla, Kendall, and Ky'Rin, who brought her endless joy and purpose.

Education and work intertwined seamlessly in Tammy's life. She was a proud graduate of W.T. White High School, paving the way for a notable career in Nutritional Services for Dallas Independent School District. Her commitment to nurturing others extended beyond her professional role; Tammy was the quintessential provider, frequently found in the kitchen, crafting meals that warmed both body and spirit. Her love for cooking reflected her nurturing nature, while her ability to dance through life animated the hearts of those around her, giving every gathering a festive touch.

Tammy had the charisma of a firecracker—lively, carefree, and the quintessential life of the party. Her down-to-earth personality drew friends and family close, and her joyous spirit was an invitation for everyone to come together in laughter and song. Tammy loved to play cards and often filled the air with music, harmonizing her love for life with each beat, creating memories that will echo in the hearts of those left behind.

Tammy's legacy is enriched by the love of her three sisters—Shunda, Kimberly, and Stephanie—who stood by her side in a tapestry of support and camaraderie. She was predeceased by her parents, Loretta and Edward Leon Leffall, whose warmth and values she carried with her; her brother, Reginald Leffall; and her stepfather, Willie Crawford, all of whom now watch over her from beyond.

As we gather to honor Tammy Latrice Jordan, we invite friends and family to celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on all of us. A viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas on March 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on March 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where we will collectively cherish the memories of a woman who was far more than a mother, sister, and friend—she was the embodiment of love and joy in our lives.
