TEDLON CORTEZ

On May 13th, 1982, a beautiful baby was born to Weldon & Vernell Cortez. From that day forward, Tedlon was led spiritually in the word of God by his parents, who also instilled prayer into everything he did. He attended Christian Schools all his life to surround himself with the presence of the Lord.

He graduated from Truth Christian Academy and went on to attend Paul Quinn College, later becoming a manager at Kirby Vacuum Company. Throughout the years, Tedlon enjoyed spending time teaching and playing video games with his nieces and nephews.

Tedlon Leaves to cherish his memories; his loving parents, Weldon and Vernell Cortez, his two daughters Triniti Cortez-Kirchoff        (Jon-Avery) and Disseree Cortez; and his son Jayvon Cortez. His siblings Ronald R. Wofford (Van), Adrian Winston (Kaye), Taralyn Jenkins, Renonda Cortez (Derrick), Tracy Jenkins (Tiel), and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends .
