THOMAS HEGGER

Thomas Ray Hegger humbly submitted to the will of God as he entered eternal rest on January 11, 2021. Thomas Ray Hegger was born August 5, 1957 to the parentage of Thomas and Almarie Hegger in Dallas, TX. Thomas Ray accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Allen Chapel Baptist Church, Dallas, TX. He graduated from South Oak Cliff High School, Dallas, TX in 1975. Thomas Ray met and was united in holy matrimony to Mamie Dodson on April 29, 1995. Thomas Ray was employed by Fenimore-Blythe Construction Company for over 30 years until his early retirement. After early retirement, he was employed by Expeditors until he ceased because of an illness. Thomas Ray is preceded in death by his mother, Almarie Hegger and one sister, Darlene Greenhouse. Thomas Ray leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Christopher “Mike” Johnson (Lisa) of Alexandria, VA; Jennifer Todd of Dallas, TX; Diva Washington of Grand Prairie, TX; two step-children, Antwanna “Tweety” Lauderdale (Everett) of Arlington, TX; Michael Allen of Grand Prairie, TX,; eleven grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Jr; McKenzie Johnson; Everett Lauderdale III; Kayla Lauderdale; Kenneytha Lauderdale; Elise Lauderdale; Zamika Allen; Zamayah Allen; Phillip Lang; Pharoah Lang; Diva James; two great grandchildren, Ailayah Lauderdale; Michael Thompson III; two sisters, Beverely Stone (Delvie) of Dallas, TX; Diane Hillery of Dallas TX; two brothers, Anthony Hegger of Dallas, TX; Lewis Hillery of Dallas, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.
