TOREY ANTWOINE HARRIS

Torey Antwoine Harris, a beloved father, devoted friend and dedicated worker, left this world too soon on September 8, 2024. Born on December 20, 1978, in, Dallas, Texas, Torey was a shining light in the lives of who knew him. His laughter resonates in the memories he created, a to a life lived with joy purpose.

With an indomitable spirit that shone through his playful personality, Torey was known as a joker and prankster among friends and family. Yet beneath this playful exterior lay a heart filled with love and compassion. Torey's generosity knew no bounds; he once provided shelter to the homeless within his mother's storage space, doing so quietly and without her knowledge—a profound reflection of his kind nature.

Torey's work ethic was unparalleled, and his proudest accomplishment was being promoted to supervisor at Wiser Security. He brought dedication and hard work to every task, inspiring those around him to strive for their best. His colleagues felt the impact of his guidance, leadership, and unwavering support.

Outside of work, Torey took immense pride in his cherished Lexus, caring for it daily with the same love and attention he gave to his family. Music filled his days, with the sultry sounds of Toni Braxton often floating through the air, wrapping him in warmth and nostalgia. And like many, he found ease in modern conveniences, frequently ordering meals from Door Dash, delighting in the small comforts of life. On holidays he couldn't wait to taste is mother's dressing with tall glass of kool-aid.  

Torey has left an indelible mark on his community and family, where he was not just a good father, but a beloved friend and confidant. His humor, hard work, and big heart will forever reside in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held on September 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX. A Celebration of Life will follow on September 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM, also at the same location.

Though he may have departed this life, Torey Antwoine Harris will forever live on in the laughter, love, and respect of those who carry his spirit within them.
