Vadell Thompson Miller, a beloved individual with an undeniable green thumb for plants and shrubbery, has sadly passed away. Born in Mabank, Texas on April 24, 1954, Vadell's passion for botanical beauty resonated with all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Vadell wore many hats and was truly a Jack of All Trades. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge led her to delve into various interests, from crotcheting to landscaping, learning to use a chainsaw to cooking. Her diverse skills and eagerness to learn anything and everything set her apart in the hearts of those around her.
Family and friends will fondly remember Vadell's dedication to nurturing her surroundings and the vibrant life she infused into every project she took on. Her legacy lives on through the seeds she planted – both literally in the earth she cultivated and metaphorically in the minds and hearts of her loved ones.
Vadell is survived by her beloved husband, R.O. Miller, and her two cherished children: Ivory Compton and Tawania Compton and two grandchildren. In this time of mourning, may they find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with Vadell.
Services to honor and celebrate Vadell's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas on March 13, 2024.
A visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The following day, March 14, 2024, a Graveside Service will be held at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Grand Prairie starting at 10:00 AM.
Vadell Thompson Miller may have left this world, but her passion for life and her green touch will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace knowing that her memory thrives in the hearts of many who were fortunate enough to know her.
