VALENCIA LALEEN HARTFIELD

September 2, 1966 — March 3, 2025

Valencia Laleen Hartfield, born on September 2, 1966, in the quaint town of Rockdale, Texas, passed away on March 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy imbued with passion, resilience, and endless love. She departed from this earthly realm in Dallas, Texas, a city that became her home and backdrop for her vibrant life.

A diligent manager in the retail industry, Valencia was celebrated not just for her professional acumen but for her indomitable spirit that characterized every facet of her existence. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, she approached challenges with a fierce tenacity that inspired those around her. To label her as merely headstrong would be an understatement; she embodied a fighting spirit that allowed her to navigate life’s hurdles with grace and strength.

Valencia was deeply devoted to her family, holding her son, Jarred, close to her heart as her proudest accomplishment. She held family to the highest degree loving both her mother Lora Hatfield and her father Willie Hartfield. Her sister and best friend Michelle Bates went through many adventures with their family and their bond will never be forgotten. Her love knew no boundaries, and this nurturing quality extended to anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Valencia captured hearts with her caring, loving demeanor and her natural inclination to give selflessly. Those who came to know her discovered a warm-hearted soul who radiated kindness, opening her arms to offer comfort and companionship.

In her quiet moments, Valencia found solace in various activities that brought her joy. The Bible was her guiding light, instilling strength and wisdom in her daily life. She cherished the vibrancy of family gatherings, where laughter echoed, whether they were spent playing arcade games with the kids or sharing insightful banter over a movie night.

As we gather to honor and remember Valencia, her free spirit and her ever-giving nature will resonate in our hearts. A viewing will be held on March 12, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX and culminating the day's commemorations with a wake service at 7:15 PM. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home.
