Vallie M. Campbell Rogers, a beloved member of the community, passed away on December 13, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 14, 1932, in Longview. Vallie was an extraordinary woman known for her talent and kindness.

In her youth, Vallie completed high school and embarked on a career that allowed her to showcase her artistic abilities. She worked at a stationary shop where she excelled as an engraver and gift wrapper. Her attention to detail and creativity brought joy to countless customers who received her beautifully crafted gifts.

Outside of her career, Vallie was a truly remarkable person. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering generosity. Vallie's compassion knew no bounds as she always went above and beyond to assist those in need. Her selflessness and willingness to lend a helping hand made her a cherished friend among the people who had the privilege of knowing her.

Vallie's memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and resilience.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and honor Vallie's life during two memorial events. The first event is a viewing scheduled for December 22, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy in Dallas, Texas.

A funeral service will follow the next day on December 23rd at Greater Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. The service will commence at 11:00 AM located at 1403 Morrell Ave in Dallas, Texas.
