For those wishing to pay their respects, a viewing will take place on October 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, followed by a prayer service at 7:15 PM.
The following day, another viewing will occur on October 31, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, located at 5004 Bonnie View Rd., Dallas, TX 75241, where her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Velma will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:15 PM the same day.
