VIVIAN CLEMONS

Vivian Faye Clemons, affectionately known as “BIBBIE”, was born on August 9, 1952 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Alonzo and Oderia McCrainey of Garland, Texas.

Vivian got her early spiritual beginning at Greater El Bethel COGIC in Garland, Texas.

She received her formal education from Garland Independent School District and was a graduate of Garland High School.  Early in life, Vivian worked in the electronic assembly industry for Unitron and others.  For the past thirty years Vivian has worked in the transportation industry as a bus driver for First Transit, DART, Mesquite ISD and most recently Garland ISD.

Vivian was united in marriage to Larry Clemons for fifteen years and to their union was born three children: Marquez McCrainey, LaQuinta (Aubrey) Ervin, and Seimitra (Cephas) Northcutt.  She is the grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Corey “Redd” Jones, who preceded her in death, Darius (Terica) Clemons, Braxton Jones, Aubrey Ervin Jr., Adhor Ervin, Kierra Tutton, Tyriek Tutton, Destiny Tutton, Zachariah Ervin, D.J. Northcutt, and Vail Northcutt and five great grandchildren: Jayden, Ryder, Darius Jr., Caiden and Londynn.

Loved by all, Vivian was well known for her infectious smile, magnetic personality, and her kind heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Oderia; sisters Cloteal Williams and Rhonda McCrainey.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: three brothers, Frank (Annie) Dickson of Garland, Texas, Oscar (Jean) McCrainey of Rowlett, Texas, Alvin McCrainey Sr. of Murphy, Texas; two sisters, Lavern Jackson of Richardson, Texas and Margaret Chatman of Garland, Texas; forever sister-in-law, Emma McCrainey.
