WILFORD RAY GARDNER SR

Wilford Ray Gardner Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 6, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on December 23, 1946, in Linden, Texas, and lived a life dedicated to family, service, and community.

Wilford served his country honorably in the Army, a service that shaped his character and instilled in him strong values of commitment and integrity. After returning from his military duties, he built a successful career as an operations manager, where he showcased his leadership skills and work ethic.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gaynell Gardner. Together, they nurtured a family that includes their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends who will forever cherish the memories created with Wilford.

Visitation for Wilford Ray Gardner Sr. will be held on February 23, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at Mt. Rose Church, Dallas, on February 24, 2025, beginning at 11:30 AM. Following the service, Wilford will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
