YOLANDA EVETTE COPELAND
Yolanda Evette Copeland, a beloved daugher, sister, friend, and veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away on February 24, 2024, in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 25, 1970, in Dallas, Texas.
Yolanda's warm and loving personality touched the lives of all those around her. Described as very caring, funny, and always ready to bring a smile to others' faces, she lived a life full of laughter and joy. Her work ethics were exemplary, and she approached everything she did with a positive attitude and enthusiasm that was infectious.
In her early years, Yolanda pursued her education at Carter High School and later went on to attend Texas Southern University. Her dedication to learning reflected her thirst for knowledge and personal growth.
Outside of her professional life and studies, Yolanda had a passion for travel, shopping, and simply taking the time to relax and enjoy the beauty of life. She found solace in exploring new places, searching for unique treasures while shopping, and unwinding in serene moments of peace.
Yolanda will be dearly missed by her surviving family members including relatives and friends. Although she has left this world physically, the memories of her vibrant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Services to honor and celebrate Yolanda's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas. The viewing will take place on March 21st from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow on March 22th starting at 1:00 PM. The burial service will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on March 22nd at 2:30 PM .
Yolanda Evette Copeland's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will endure as a beacon of light for those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace eternal.
