EMMA ROBERTSON

July 1, 1931 — June 21, 2021

Emma Jean Robertson was born July 1,1931 in Kansas City Missouri to her late parents William Gadberry Sr. and Ruby Jo Buchanan. She and her family relocated to Dallas, TX when she was a young age. She attended Booker T High school and Mansfield community college where she received her certification in office management. She also was on the Dean’s list. Jean accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and throughout her life attended multiple churches.

However, she found a church home in Bexar Street Baptist Church where she spent the last 60 years serving on a multitude of auxiliary groups. Jean loved the Lord and she loved her family. She was proceeded in death by her husband Cleophus Robertson, her son, Harold Gadberry, her siblings Opal, Virginia, Oneida and William Gadberry Jr. and other relatives and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories: two grandchildren Rosonda (Joseph) Broadnax and Harold Gadberry Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Edward Jr. and Dija Walker, Shantel Redden, Taylor, Dominique, Darius Armdamein and Har’Dasha Gadberry; three great-great grandchildren, Crispina Redmond, Brandon Walker and E’Rion Walker; a host of other special relatives and friends.
